Sartomer Company has formed an
alliance with Czech Republic-based
Kaucuk, a.s., a member of the
Unipetrol Group. Sartomer will hold
the exclusive rights and trademark
use for the worldwide marketing and
sales of Kaucuk’s Krasol polybutadiene
products. Previously marketed
within the Czech Republic and other
regions in Europe, Krasol functional
liquid polybutadienes are used in the
coatings, adhesives and sealant
industries.
Sartomer plans to integrate the
entire Krasol line, including 24 products
and several developmental products,
into its specialty polymers
group. Sartomer also has plans to
develop new products using the combined
technologies of both companies
